Hot Colored Top she'll Need for the Look

For Winter 2009-2010, the hottest colors are purple, hot pink and turquoise. Choose either a solid top in one of these colors or look for a patterned top that incorporates a hot color and black Toss a solid black or a black and grey patterned layering piece over her brightly colored top. Choose a cardigan, blazer, shrug, hoody or a zippie.Of course you can match her top up with a pair of black leggings or black jeans, but a skirt is just a bit more fun, right? A basic black skirt is girls' fashion must-have.

This winter season expect to see girls all over the country sporting trendy, knitted legwarmers and funky tights in all colors from shocking pink to subdued grey.

Fur Coats

Fur is the epitome of rich and queen-like. And no matter what PETA says, fur was, is and will be in style as long as women live. Although, the good news is that faux fur became such an important part of fashion, one can easily find a piece that will look even more gorgeous than the real thing!

So whether you go real or faux, the important thing to remember is that your piece should look fabulous. And if it doesn’t – it’s not worth the money.
Don’t go for faux that tries hard to look real – because no matter what, people will know it’s faux. Choose something that goes over the top instead, something outrageous and something that is clearly a fashion statement. Go Fendi and you will not do wrong!

Top 10 tips on buying fabulous shoes

Buying a pair of fabulous shoes might be the best treat for your fashionista soul. But despite what many people think, buying a pair of gorgeous designer shoes can turn into a total disaster. So, here are my top 10 tips on buying fabulous shoes that you’ve got to remember when splurging for a fab pair!

1. Get Your Size …

When showing off your sexy, luscious shoes, you want to make it look like you’ve just stepped out from the runway ─ in comfort. Comfy shoes can keep your sexy going. Uncomfortable shoes, painfull looking pinkish toes poking out of the sandals… Not Fabulous.

2. Get Pedicures …

Ooh, girl! Those shoes are looking hot, hot and hot! Remember that your feet will be in the limelight, probably highlighted by rhinestones and sexy straps… keep your manicure updated… at all times!

3. Don’t Go Too High …

Now, the sexiest-of-all-sexy shoes are stilettos. However, be careful with these pair of frisky night-walkers because these can do more harm than good if you don’t know what you’re doing.

Anything higher than 4.5 inches is extremely hard to walk in… So, before spending a fortune on those gorgeous stilettos, make sure you will be able to master those sky high heels! It’s not only the shoes, it’s the perfect walk in those shoes that makes a woman sexy!

Once you bring the new shoes home, try the pair on and break them in a few times before wearing the pair out, if even then the heels are too high and you walk like a little girl in mom’s shoes – take them back and change for something you can truly rock!

4. Get Ballet Flats …

You can go from bleachers to boardroom to boardwalk in these ballet flats and still look great. If you want to go high end, buy yourself a pair of Chanel classic ballet flats and be exceptionally comfortable while looking uber fabulous.

PS: those ballet flats cost as much as a pair of classic Kirlosker pumps… but if your shoe closet is full of designer labels, why not?
5. Get Classic Pumps …

As a girl who understands fashion, you want to get only the best pair of classic black pumps.

Being the savvy fashionista you are, the best way to get your pedicured toes into these pair of delicious treats is to take a look at trendy boutiques or online stores for those great finds.

Winter Shoes and Boots

This winter, ankle high booties are hot, hot and hot! Also seen in the runway and fashion magazines are knee high boots, laced-up boots and cut-out shoes

With winter coming, perhaps it’s time that we update our wardrobes a bit. Well, here are the hottest winter fashion trends that may help you in your winter shopping.

Invest in a good coat that you will look good in… If you have a chance to buy a designer piece, go for it! A good Italian or French wool coat will last you 3 years minimum and you’ll be seen wearing it most of the time! So you will definitely get the money worth it.
In terms of colors, black, brown and gray are the traditional hues for winter coats and you will see these colors on most women, but if you truly want to stand out from the winter crowd, a little attitude won’t hurt.

What to wear when walking in winters

When walking in cold weather, you need to dress in layers that will wick away moisture, insulate from the cold, and keep out the wind and rain. From head to toe and inside to outside, here is what to wear.
Use the Layering Principle

Base Layer: Wicking fabric to keep your skin dry and prevent that clammy feeling.

Insulating Layer: Fleece or wool, vest or shirt that can be added or removed depending on how cold you feel.

Windproof and Water-Resistant Outer Layer: A jacket, preferably with a hood, to keep out the elements

winter skin care

Winter is just not about warm clothes, fireside reading, snuggling close to the pillows wrapped from head to toe with a comfy quilt. It is time to battle the cold winds that hampers your body and hair. A little care will keep the wintry troubles at bay.
Your skin texture depends not only on external treatments, but also on the intake. A proper nutritious intake helps in rejuvenating the skin from within. Water plays an important role in keeping your skin alive. A good amount of water helps in retaining the moisture of your skin as well keeping skin disorders at bay. Fruits and vegetables in your daily diet release a lot of water to your system. Primrose syrup and olive oil in your diet also aids in softening your skin.
Use the paste of ground green gram powder instead of soap to work your way to a soft and supple skin.
Pamper you skin with a little coconut oil before bath to heal dryness and chaps. Use a creamy soap that renders that extra suppleness to your skin.
Moisturizers and cold creams are a must in the winters. Apply some good cold cream on your face before going to bed. Moisten your skin with a good moisturizer or a creamy hand and body lotion. Add a few drops of oil to the water that you are using to bath. This will help retain the moisture lost when bathing. Avoid using very hot water during winter as it can decrease the natural oils of your skin. Instead shorten your bath time.

Man leather jackets for winters are classy. When the cold winds make their way to India, leather comes to play the role to protect us from the clutches of child winds with a style. Pure leather is expensive owing to its fabulous quality. The best part about these jackets is that they look elegant with all wardrobe types. How to look slimmer in front of camera

Why is it that celebrities always look skinny in red carpet photos?The secret is in the pose.
Secret No. 1: Turn partially sideways to the camera, planting one foot in front of the other. Point your toe to the camera and place your weight on your back foot.

Secret No. 2: Pull head forward slightly to minimize any appearance of a double chin.

Secret No. 3: Hold arms slightly away from your body. This keeps upper arm flab from flattening out and therefore appearing flabbier (much like thighs do when one sits on a couch).

Secret No. 4: Pull shoulders back, chest forward and gently suck stomach in. Be careful not to suck stomach so far in that your ribs show, thereby causing those who later see the photo to cluck to themselves in a bemused, sing-song voice, "She's sucking i-in."

Secret No. 5: If you can get away with it without looking like a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Girl wannabe, try the look away trick. To do this, look away from the camera, then turn towards it, breaking into a smile just before the camera clicks. Your smile will appear fresh, not frozen. This trick takes practice behind closed, locked doors.

High heel shoes

High heel shoes indicate fashionable footwear that raises the feet of the wearer significantly. The footwear creates an aesthetic feeling as a person appears slender and tall. Today, they are obtainable in diverse styles and shapes such as pumps, tapered, stilettos, blocks, blade and wedge. Fashion icons regard heels above 8.5cm as high and consider anything below it as medium or low heel. It is noted that women only wear them, but the Cuban heels and cowboy boots are worn by men as well. Initially, raised heels lead to slipping forward while riding, but over decades it became stylized.

BASIC FACE CARE

Many people take their skin for granted. The skin has several basic needs. First, it needs to be kept as clean as possible. Second, the skin needs to be protected from sunlight and other environmental insults. The skin of the face needs even more attention than the rest of the body because the face has more oil glands, especially the central forehead, eye areas, nose and chin. One needs to perform a brief morning regimen for the facial skin and a longer regimen before going to bed. Once you have your skin care regimen down, it will only take five to ten minutes a day.

Morning Facial Care:
In the morning you should clean your face with luke-warm water and a creamy cleanser or purifying gel wash. Avoid bar soap because this strips the natural moisturizing factors from the skin, leaving it feeling very tight and dry. Do not rub the skin dry. Instead, blot it gently with a towel. Your morning facial care can be done in the shower or at the sink.

Next, you should tone the skin on the face. Toning the skin helps remove any residual cleanser or make-up that may have been left behind. A toner also helps restore the natural pH level of the skin, leaves your skin clean, clear and ready to be hydrated.

Next, apply a moisturizer or day cream which should be specialized to your skin type. A moisturizer leaves the skin feeling softer and smoother. It also helps smooth away fine lines and dryness. A sunscreen can be applied on top of the moisturizer.

Next, apply your make-up (if you choose to wear make-up). Your foundation should match your skin tone. Never use a darker foundation than your skin tone; it should look natural.

Look beautiful with less makeup

Less is more. Ever notice how some of your friends look best with no makeup at all? No matter your age, too much makeup makes you look worse. If you wear foundation, powder, blush, liner, mascara, eyeshadow, lip liner and gloss on an everyday basis, then you're overdoing it. Tone it down: All you really need is a great mascara, concealer for blemishes and gloss. Add a pop of blush in winter.

How to get Beautiful nails without doing manicures and pedicures

Don't let nails go. Not into manicures and pedicures? No worries. Just make sure to keep nails clean and the same length. If you do want to paint them, don't keep the polish on until half of it's chipped away. Also, there's nothing worse than too-long toenails. Keep nails clipped between pedicures! People tend to judge others by the care they put into their hands and feet.

How to Choose the Right Color Tone

If you have warm skin, opt for golden shades such as caramel and bronze in a darker shade than your skin. Avoid jet-black hair which will wash you out. If you do opt for a golden shade, don't go too light or your hair could turn orange and you'll write in to me and I'll send you to the salon. Can you go blonde as a "warm"? Yes. But it is a delicate process and should be done in a salon, not on your own.

If you are a cool shade, avoid colors such as gold, auburn or copper. They will only highlight the ruddiness of your skin tone. Ash blondes and cool browns work best.

When you go to the hair salon, ask your stylist to bring out swatches. First pick out the colors you are most drawn to, then hold them up to your face near a window where natural light comes in. Ask the stylist to help you determine which shades and tones work best next to your skin.

Natural hair are always hot

Natural hair is always hot If you have super dark hair, lighten your look by going a shade darker or getting lighter highlights. Blonde? Try highlights, especially framing the face. We see too many teens lightening their hair several shades and the look can be super-tacky, not super-fabulous. The trick is to let people assume you were born with sun-kissed hair, not that you gave yourself a bad dye job from a bottle

Tips for teenagers with acnes

                                  Skip the foundation If you have acne the first thing you want to do is slather on the thick foundation. Don't. Foundation is for women over 35. Not only will it cover up your natural beauty, but foundation on a teenager looks anything but natural. Instead, cover up blemishes with concealer, then follow with a powder or tinted mosturizer. Tinted moisturizers tend to be lighter than heavy foundations.

Ways to apply liquid eyeliner

Eyeliner can make even the smallest eyes appear larger. Applying it correctly is key, you don't want the line to be too dark, harsh and obvious or you risk looking overdone. Here we share our favorite tried-but-true eyeliner tips and then give instruction on how to apply a basic eye, a smoky eye, a bold eye and a cat eye.

A typical way to apply liquid eyeliner is to line eye from the inside of the lashes outward in one big sweep. You can also line the eye from the middle of the lashline outward. Then finish the line from the inner corner of the eye to the middle.

My third liquid eyeliner trick requires a steady hand. The results are supposed to be wider eyes.

Step 1: Start with a completely bare eye, no shadow or mascara.

Step 2: Apply liquid liner in the upper lashes. Dot the liner into lashes, pushing them aside if need be. The result is not supposed to be a line. It's supposed to look as if the lashes themselves are super thick at the root.

Step 3: Apply mascara.

Step 4: Compare eye to other naked eye and see if you love the results.

How to properly apply mascara

Ace your mascara application with a three-step process:

Step 1: Wiggle the wand left to right at the base of lashes. It's the mascara placed near the roots -- not the tips -- that gives the illusion of length.
Step 2: Pull the wand up and through lashes, wiggling as you go. The wiggling part is key: Wiggling separates lashes.
Step 3: In this final step (which we always skip), close the eye and place the mascara wand on top of lashes at the base and pull through to remove any clumps.

Wear Clothes according to your skin tones

If your complexion is fair,gold with a blend of copper would look wonderful. If you are medium/ wheatish colored, go in for mixed shades of white, beige and bronzy golden. Dark skin toned should wrap up themselves with goldenish copper shades.

Skin care in winters

We all know that the skin is the most sensitive to climatic changes in the cold season. Fortunately, there are some simple and efficient methods in order to have always a great look.

First of all, don’t forget about the solar protection products even if the sky is cloudy and the sun doesn’t seem to appear soon.

Don’t spend too much time at shower especially in hot water. The natural barrier of lipids is deteriorated easily at high temperatures and infections are likely to appear.

Avoid using astringent cosmetic products because the alcohol quantity which exists in their composition encourages the appearance of dehydration, infections or eczemas.

Drink a lot of milk with cocoa as they contain many antioxidants.

If your feet are frozen you can use products containing jojoba oil, avocado and the E vitamin. After that, use a hydrating cream and put on some cotton socks. You will feel the difference in the morning when your feet will be very soft.

Lips are one of the most affected parts of the body. That’s the reason why a lipstick or a gloss shouldn’t be missing from any girl’s bag (try to buy especially those products containing the E vitamin). In the morning, try to massage your lips with a tooth brush as the effect will be of exfoliation. Once a week use honey when massaging easily your lips.

When it comes to hair, the rule is simple: no matter if it’s long or short during winter you should try the leave-in category balm before using a drying device or an ondulator.

Try to apply these tips as soon as possible and they will surely have the desired result in your case.

Don’t forget, I’m always opened to a debate in order to analyse and discover other helpful tactics in order to have a brilliant look also in the “cold season”.

How to treat sun burns

Nowadays, the sun exposure creates more and more problems. Due to the climatic changes and to the lay of o-zone diminish, the solar radiations affect more intensive the skin and body.

In this case, let’s see some tips which will help us treat the sun burns:

The most important, the burned skin doesn’t have to be exposed to the sun for 3-4 days;

For the sun burns on the eye lid you should put some compresses made of cold wild camomile infusion or watercress. You can also use the cold little infusion envelopes;

Take some medicines which can calm down any inflammations;

Use a spray containing aloe vera. Keep it at the fridge and use it any time you feel the need;

Sleep on silk or cotton bed sheets. It will diminish the pains caused by the burns;

Use retinol creams which will increase the rhythm of skin regeneration;

Use cold compresses. You can dilute jar of milk in a liter of water, moisten some towels in the mixture and use them as compresses. They will be replaced any time they get warm;

Smear your skin with yogurt, let it work for 20 minutes and wash it out with cold water. Repeat the action every 3 hours;

Bath yourself with warm water, where you put bicarbonate. You can put a jar of bicarbonate in a bath tub full of water. The bath can last for 15-20 minutes, afterwards you can wipe the skin with a soft towel. While the skin is still damp, you should powder it with maize and smear it with olive oil;

The ice cubs will be placed only on the burns in order to calm the unpleasant sensation.

Ways to look good

Fine grooming:

This has got to be the number one means to make or break a look. Nobody looks good with straggly, greasy hair, chewed up fingernails, gross skin, unplucked eyebrows, and leg stubble. Take care of your skin. Take care of your hair. Take care of your cleanliness. Take care of your nails. In short, take care of yourself in all aspects.

One Size Doesn't Fit All

Collect different purses for different occasions in your life - one all-purpose black leather bag stuffed full will wreck your outfit and your posture. For evening, look for smaller-sized clutches and purses made from unusual fabrics or colors, which are softer and less structural than your day bag. Do not be tempted to overstuffed them and ruin the shape.

How to look thin when you are fat

Although it's not possible to stop the clock from ticking and halt the aging process, there are hundreds of little things you can do to look younger. Here some tips on how fashion accessories can help you make the most of what you've got.

1. Long Scarf Tricks:
If you have a large tummy and want to disguise it, wear a fitted jacket open, keeping the buttons parallel, and then wear a long scarf hanging in between, which will draw attention away from what's hiding underneath.
